Scenario 1: You are on a train coming home from a day at the beach. The train stops at a station and a group a youths get on the train and start bashing an elderly ethnic man. You notice people getting off the train. – Firstly i would stop and think about what i should do and not fight them straight away. I then would try and talk to one of the youths or most of them. I would try speaking to them in a quiet voice and try my best to calm down. These things i am writing is just the thought that is in my mind right now at the time. If i was going to do this and it didnt work i then would yell out for help and ask someone to assist in this scenario.

Discuss what you would do in this situation.

Scenario 2: You get a message from a girl that you are interested asking you to come over her house. When you get there a number of her friends are present and they say they are bored. One of them promotes the idea of going for a walk and causing a riot. At first you tell them “No way”. However, the girl you like states that “she will like you more if you go”. – Firstly i would try my best to persuade her out of the situation. If this didnt work i would say i will come but im not getting involved. If i did get involved i could get seriously hurt or killed. After that if it work i would tell her to get lost and i dont want to have nothing to do with her.

    Journel entry 7 – CST/IST2 – 27/3/08

Conscience is a hypothesised ability or faculty that distinguishes whether our actions are right or wrong. It leads to feelings of remorse when we do things that go against our moral values, and to feelings of recstitude or integrity when our actions conform to our moral values. It is also the attitude which informs our moral judgment before performing any action. The extent to which such moral judgements are based in reason has been a matter of controversy almost throughout the history of Western philosophy.

A persons conscience can alter the decisions being made by the person. The relationships between religion and conscience is that its like a persons conscience to follow a religion and certain beliefs in a religion make conscience things happen.
